The Four Alls is a stone built traditional inn providing comfortable and warm accommodation, plus food and drink 7 days a week in the centre of the village of Ovington in Teesdale (Southernmost of the Durham Dales).  It is centrally located with easy access to Barnard Castle and the Bowes Museum (6 miles West), Darlington with its many museums and centres of interest (9 miles East), the market town of Richmond (9 miles South), The Yorkshire Dales and their attractions and further afield the Lake District (1 hour) and the larger centres such as Durham (40 mins) and Newcastle (55mins).  Situated between the A66 and A67 roads (between Scotch Corner, Darlington and Barnard Castle) access is easy to many destinations yet the Four Alls remains in a tranquil village setting. For those travelling from the South to Scotland and vice versa we provide a convenient break to recharge the batteries for the onward journey and something a bit different to the Corporate overnight stays.

Ovington also lies in the lee of the Pennines and often has good weather when all around are having rain!  Surrounded by rolling fields and beautiful views with the Richmond Hills in the distance why not come and unwind on the border of North Yorkshire and County Durham – you may be in for a pleasant surprise.
